Expert Evidence has announced further expansion with experts Matt Clarke and James Penman joining the property group to handle increasing number of disputes in the property lending area.

Both have substantial experience in property lending and have worked in the major banks providing finance in a wide range of situations.

Matt Clarke has held senior lending positions at Barclays Investment Bank and more recently worked on a significant redress programme with RBS Group. Previously, Matt held the position of Regional Chief Credit Officer for European corporate clients at Barclays. This involved chairing credit committees with a very high level of personal lending discretion and working on some major banking transactions across a full range of industry sectors across Europe.

James Penman has recently left the Principality Building Society having previously been with Bristol & West, Barclays Group, RBS Group and the Bank of Ireland Group. His widespread experience at Principality Building Society, Bristol & West, Carlyle Trust RBS and Barclays puts him in a very good position to be able to advise on the market approach in a number of institutions. He also has significant experience and knowledge of the Building Society sector.
